ZipReceipts
For bookkeepers
Give every client a dedicated receipt address. They forward receipts as they buy, and you receive an organized monthly archive—without accessing anyone’s inbox.
No Gmail or Outlook connection. Clients can forward files; business members can also upload.
Review, search, and export the receipts your team submits.

“The receipt is somewhere in my email” is not a receipt-collection process.
A blurry phone shot lands in your texts at 9 p.m. No vendor name in the filename, no context for which job it belongs to.
The receipt is somewhere in a forty-message email chain—if the attachment made it at all.
Photos drop into a shared Drive or Dropbox folder with no naming convention. Sorting becomes your unpaid night job.
The client swears they forwarded it. The email has no attachment. Round two starts.
Your polite follow-up sits unread until the week before close, when everything arrives at once.
Five clients, five inboxes or folders, one deadline. You rebuild the same chase ritual every month.
Forward → Organize → Download. One dedicated address per client business—no inbox OAuth.
Create a business workspace for each client and assign a dedicated receipt email. Clients forward purchase emails as they buy; invite business members who need to upload PDFs or photos from the dashboard.
Example: northfork@in.zipreceipts.com for North Fork Plumbing
ZipReceipts stores and normalizes the files for that client’s business. Receipts stay separated by workspace—not mixed across your bookkeeping practice.
Switch between client businesses you belong to from one login
When you need the pack for close or the accountant handoff, download an organized monthly archive for that client.
On-demand ZIP (plus CSV summaries when extraction data exists)
Paste this into your welcome email. Clients do not install an app or create an account to start forwarding.
“Forward every business receipt to yourbusiness@in.zipreceipts.com. You do not need an app, login or new accounting system.”
Replace yourbusiness@… with that client’s alias.
Same clients. Different intake path—email forward into a private receipt inbox, monthly ZIP out.
Before
After
Each client is a separate business with its own alias. Receipt counts, last submission, and thin prior months are shown here as demo UI only—so you can picture the multi-client view before signup.
Review, search, and export the receipts your team submits.

ZipReceipts never reads client inboxes. Clients send what they choose to a private receipt address you control.
Nothing connects to anyone’s mailbox. There is no inbox OAuth for you or your clients.
We only receive receipts deliberately forwarded or CC’d to that client’s address, plus dashboard uploads from business members.
Model each client as a separate business with its own alias so files never cross streams.
Rotate or disable a receipt alias when a client relationship ends or you need a clean break.
Read the full Privacy Policy.
Shared inboxes, Google Drive, Dropbox file requests, and text threads were not built as receipt portals. Full platforms like Dext or Hubdoc add deep accounting automation—ZipReceipts is the simpler intake and monthly archive layer that works alongside your existing stack.

Ready-to-use prompts for onboarding clients to a dedicated receipt address—welcome email, monthly reminder, submission checklist, onboarding outline, and year-end document request.
No. They only need to forward or send receipts to the dedicated address you give them. Uploads from the dashboard are available for people who are members of that business.
Yes. Create a separate business (and receipt address) per client, then switch between businesses you belong to.
No. Nothing connects to Gmail or Outlook. Only forwarded or uploaded files are received.
No. ZipReceipts is a focused intake and monthly archive layer that works alongside your existing tools—not a full accounting-document automation platform.
Yes. Download an organized monthly ZIP when you need it for close or handoff.
Clients can forward common receipt emails, or you can upload PDF, JPEG, PNG, and HTML from the dashboard. Files are normalized for storage and monthly export.
No. It is a private receipt inbox plus monthly ZIP export. Use the archives with QuickBooks, Xero, or your existing workflow—direct sync is not required (and not claimed here).
Download the monthly ZIP (and CSV summaries when extraction data exists) and bring those files into the tools you already use. ZipReceipts does not replace your ledger.
Set up the first client workspace, share the forward-to address, and stop rebuilding the month-end chase.
